You didn't read the bit about the parents dropping them off and having holes in the their trainers?
Easy just to blame the parents and move on. You dont know if they're working every hour and still can't cope, or if they're all actually like your narrow minded view and a bunch of work shy, benefit claimers who spunk their money on inappropriate stuff.
I don't either, but I dont frankly give a stuff - this is children we're talking about in one of the most prosperous countries in the world going hungry and having stunted growth - it's certainly not their fault and the attempted distraction of just automatically blaming 'waster parents' is wrong and probably very unfair on a lot of those parents who are trying their best
