McNally sacked Gunn after about 3 months

2 games into the season, granted. But 3 months or so after he joined the club. He had a good opportunity to observe Gunn in action before deciding.

What you're suggesting Knapper should have done before officially becoming an NCFC employee, sounds incredibly unprofessional to me.
