Some interesting stats all round.
The top 4 did indeed stay the same but 5 of the 6 contenders for the other 2 spots completely fell off a cliff form wise after decent seasons.
69 points to make the playoffs was definitely a sub 10% probability and needed most of the chasing teams to s**t the bed (which they clearly did!)
The true odds of Sunderland making the playoffs with 6 games to go was probably north of 50 to 1
