Throwing more money at the problems isn't the answer.

The amount of wastage is obscene. Equipment lying idle in cupboards, over stockage of drugs, IT systems not fit for purposes etc etc.
A proper frank discussion on what the NHS is there for. People have to realise that NHS staff are not miracle workers and patients unfortunately do die in A/E,on the operating table,in ICU and the wards.
The one I would say though is on the coal face it is understaffed. Jobs like nursing are now degree level. So people need 3 A levels to get on the course missing out on a lot of folk who are very caring but struggle with exams. Although they are starting apprenticeships. Don't get me started on bursaries.
On a final point if it wasn't for Philipeno nurses and I'm sure the NHS would of imploded by now.
