Indeed - but then why are his comments relevant to his job as a football pundit?

Who cares if he has an opinion? Everyone has an opinion. I don't think his view is any reflection on the BBCs impartiality given the things he presents are not political in nature.

Unless there's some concern that he will start delivering left leaning MOTD coverage?
