I think the building blocks are still there

Gunn is a decent keeper

Samba, Andy O, tomknison, Dimi can all play a part in a decent defence.

Sara, nunez and Sorenson are all decent midfielders

Sargent and Dowell look capable up front too.

Idah has potential as does Tzolis

McLean, pukki, Gibson, Hanley, Krul Onel all have the ability to help mentor the next gang through.

The side needs a refresh, but there's some strong players there in the right system, with the right players around them.


To echo Jim... We're lacking a decent defensive midfielder to anchor it all.

Add a water carrier like Reed into the middle of the park and I think we'd be in a much better place.

We also need a manager who is able to build little partnerships and understandings between the players. It was this that Smith cocked up and that hopefully Wagner can start to put right.
