NBTTT - profanities

I've attended two presentations (online) recently and noticed they swear liberally throughout. Now I'm over liberal with my use of expletives, but I don't think I'd go so casual on a presentation to people that I'm vaguely connected with, but not actually mates down the pub with.
Just wondered if it had come out of the virtual meetings world or if it's more commonplace IRL. Was at a conference in December and didn't notice it.
But I felt quite Disgusted of Tonbridge Wells by the end of these calls.
