It feels like Smith is in it for an easy job

He probably quite enjoys the Norfolk lifestyle, playing golf etc. not getting the grief he’d get at Villa. I heard at the weekend from someone that he’s not that popular with the players. I always thought he would be but now I’m starting to believe that may be the case based on performances.

Meanwhile our sporting director is being allowed (presumably by his wife) to interview for other jobs whilst spending the rest of his time climbing mountains with the pair of them raking in millions.
