I'm not sure I accept the premise that if Emi Buendia was great, it indicates that all

recruitment is fine.

We didn't want a player like Billy Gilmour, we wanted strong and athletic. Lees Melou wasn't that player either.

Strong suggestions from grown-up journalist that both players were presented to us and that we didn't hunt them down.

Two managers and two sets of coaches couldn't get a single tune out of any of our new signings last season.

So yeah, recruitment to be honest.
