It’s not about comparisons

I probably lean towards the newer style of managers now and Smith feels like he’s not in the ‘legacy’ league but not in the innovative either.
I also don’t think the calls for him to go were hasty as most people were concerned that we were continuing a poor run that started in the PL. And we’re seeing that this squad should do well at this level so not underestimating his influence but not overestimating it either.
But yes, my prerogative. He just doesn’t feel quite Norwich enough. When he’s been here for years and we all love him I’ll accept this was a wrong view but right now, still not my cup of tea.
