10m for a 32 year old out of contract in the summer

I think on a business level you have to take that. Especially since his goals seem to have dried up a bit with age combined with SmithBall and struggling recent signings.

Would hate it and a grumble a lot. But few teams could make the decision to turn that down. And then there is the matter of doing the right thing given it would be his last chance of a big pay day. I know it's a business, not a charity and all that but we managed to sign players like him, Emi, Krul and Nunez partly because they have assurances on how we look after the players and let them go if there's a major career step in front of them. If we were to block a Pukki who wanted to go then that would ruin the myth.

For the reasons above, I very much doubt anybody in the Premier League is going to offer 10m. Not even Everton. He would be more likely to be worth 10m to a championship team than a premier league team.
