Buy green beans and roast em on the stove top

(a mate and I did this, the coffee is nice, amazing how much difference the degree of roast makes to the flavour)

And yeah, buy a hand held burr grinder, it does make a difference.

Nb - the main advtange of roasting your own beans is to have that extra bit of waffle to say in these conversations.
