PLM, while fine, was by all accounts something that just sprung up. A bonus squad player.

Completely unnecessary spending that could have been used to get someone better.

Rupp and Sorensen were already "in the building" and we got Normann and Gilmour on loans which were unlikely to be free... so we've completely fluffed it.

That Normann, Gilmour and PLM money should have been invested in an actual first rate defensive midfielder. TETTEY 2.0.

I'm sure its not the only example like that but other things like all these punts that haven't worked out (Sitti, Soto, Sinani) these are funds being spent not on upgrading the first team with higher wages players.

Contracts dished out on promotion the first time was another one.

Lots of players got decent years as a reward that then got payed off, hence why players like Onel still have a year, Zimbo FFS (love the guy but come on) it's dead money.
