Dean Smith's pre-Burnley press conference will begin at 9am. Updates to follow...
--------------------------------------------------------------
DS: “Burnley are scrapping for every point and have been in this situation many times. They got a well deserved win on Wednesday.”
DS: “I just think it’s a game we’ve got to be really good in. What will be will be.”
DS: “Williams and Rupp are back training today, I’m hoping Aarons is as well.”
DS: “It wasn’t a great performance against Brighton but it was a good result and hopefully we can take some confidence going into this game.”
DS: "I was impressed with the performances of Hanley and Krul at Brighton, but other players need to step up."
DS: “Kabak is going to get treatment at his parent club as it’s a significant hamstring injury that’s ruled him out for the rest of the season.”
DS: “I’ve never been relegated and I want that to continue. I know it’s going to be tough but we’ll be battling every step of the way.”
DS: “My remit is to stay in the Premier League. We are working with the players we’ve got but trying to win games in this league is difficult.”
DS: “I don’t know how the fans are feeling, as I don’t phone them up or look at social media.”
DS: “Jonathan’s performances from the bench have been really good so far. I’ve got to judge whether he can do it from the start.”
DS: “A great player for Norwich and Aston Villa.” (Smith says his thoughts are with John Deehan after his recent dementia diagnosis.)

That concludes Dean Smith’s press conference.
