existing customer?

I work for an energy retailer. The costs of providing that sort of deal to new customers would have been massively loss making. To existing customers maybe you take the view that securing anything above the price cap is a gain.

If they were offering that to new customers or priced below the hedges available against the expected Apr & Oct caps then they are idiots. The lesson from all of this is that you don't really want your energy provided by idiots. No-one is too big to fail.
