The cricket media is a really split for me

I am 100% with you in regard to a large element of them. I once had the displeasure of being in a curry house in Nottingham prior to a test match and the cricket media, well those who had never played professional cricket, were eating. Biggest bunch of arrogant muppets I have had to endure.

The other section of the cricket media encompasses mostly ex pros who I have a lot of respect for. Mike Atherton writes beautifully. Rob Key, Hussain, Agnew etc I think are brilliant and speak with passion and sense.

In regard to Billings I’m not saying he is my choice just saying why he is is getting mentioned.
