"Literally no other signing was more important"

We've scored 8 goals on 19 games. 2 of those were penalties and 2 of the others were basically chucked in by Southampton's keeper. You think a CDM or even two would have had a prayer of keeping us up?

There are teams with vaguely similar goals conceded to ours but nobody is anywhere near our pathetic goals scored figure. That is and was always going to be the biggest problem.
