Talksport etc weren't right

we did invest, we did give it a go. It just hasn't worked (yet).

They might become right at the point when the Club accepts that it isn't going to work *but doesn't mind*.

but at that point, whilst they might be that we aren't havng a go, you're into the debate on whether it's better for a club like us to bank what cash we can and build for the future, or spend every last available penny trying to stay in the PL and sak/sell/buy whoever we can in an attempt to achieve that.
