the current buzzword of cultural appropriation cannot be more understated. she is not black. the video shows her in several scenes as "darker" than other dancers, i would say deliberately. the argument of the lyrics or the appropriate style she has chosen to adopt is not an accident. and if if it is she cannot not be aware it is happening at the time.

the inscesident online bullying is disgusting not just for her but for everyone. but i am a questioning is this the way to deal with it? my opinion is that this is the worst possible and thoughtless way to do so if that is true.

nobody is this naiive? i must be open to question because of the level of misunderstanding between what she has said in the past and what i see as a very ugly and simple way to promote a product.
