I think the point is that betting companies currently target and exploit problem gamblers

not surprisingly, because its where a lot of their profit comes from. but it drives a lot of misery and suffering.

they have very sophisticated data collection and targeting techniques. they know who the problem gamblers are. And they certainly don't try and help those people (other than to spend more)

its actually tricker for drink companies. Most of their selling isn't online to subscribers. Do actually think they have much less idea who their problem drinker customers are.
