You do have to question what any of these England coaches actually do to earn their money

I don;t see many players who massively improve under their guidance, indeed they often start off well and then fade away due to consistent technical or "application" issues.

Catching is something a coach should be able to practice. The approach bowling to tail enders has been sh*t for 3 years yet only after Lords did Root acknolwedge he "got it wrong."

Who on the coaching staff is taking thse guys (root included) aside between games and analysing and working on this sort of stuff with them because there is not much evidence of players being improved. We generally rely on a bit of brilliance from Root, Anderson or Broad.
