had a few like that - same a my mobile but last 3 digits different

my guess is they spoof one number and then bulk ring 999 others with the same starting digits, then move on to another set of numbers. maybe people are more likely to pick up when the number is so similar to their own?

my top tip is to pretty much never answer the phone
