I agree, we impose a ceiling on ourselves

Obviously there will be extreme examples where champions league clubs pay stupid money but we are too accepting of the fact that players need to “step up.”

Delias recent quote where she said Max Aaron’s will be a top player one day but not with us (or words to that effect) was a bit depressing.
