It’s been a terrible idea since it was implemented. It’s still way too complicated.

Obviously they see the membership as a way of regulating the demand for tickets via ‘loyalty’ of the membership fee, therefore giving priority.

However it’s a massive switch off for fans who can only causally go to a couple of games a year, many of these are families with children.

We talk on here fondly how the club enticed a new generation of fans with ‘kids for a quid’ etc, I fear they are now pushing causal fans and the next generation away.
