I do love the way people who say "question everything" then either believe something so outlandish it can't possibly be true (Q) or then won't believe something that is clearly self-evidently true (flat earthers).

A degree of distrust is reasonably healthy; politicians and the media have always abused the trust of the electorate to an extent, after all, but FFS, are you that gullible that you believe that the most right wing government in generations secretly is imposing autocratic measures so as to crash the economy, using a virus as an excuse?

People believed the Roman empire collapsed due to mass insanity caused by lead poisoning in their water supply. We have the lead piping among us now.
