You are righ, it is a little naive but he is not suggesting the EFL should just bow down

Its just a starting point, which most opinions (as with the comments above) seem to agree. Its just the core point that surrounds the voting rights of the other clubs and hence future policy direction. No one can clearly agree to that.

However, the EFL clearly needs to sort itself out financially first, if that means losing a few poorly run clubs then so be it. English football is too bloated anyway...It needs tighter financial regulation, salary caps, budget caps, genuine regulation of club owners, as a start. This will mena that the English leagues are at least in a healthy place after the top 6 all bugger off to their European superleague(s), which is obviously the final goal of this project...the current revitalisation plan is just a bit of foreplay before the Premier League screws the EFL.
