The European Super League Elephant in the room

If a European super league is (and always has been) the worst kept secret and ultimate intention, why not let it go.
Create a super franchised team league and have done with it. Have this league play during the summer in roofed air conditioned stadiums. Even have an IPL style auction for players.
For me all of this goes against the grain of how football should be, but this piecemeal approach to getting what the big corporate teams want is going to happen anyway. Liverpool, Manchester United are global businesses, the name just refers to the place where the stadium is.
