I'm done with it all.

I wear a mask out of respect for others, I keep my distance out of respect for others, I do my best to obey the rules.

But frankly, if left to my own devices I'd just carry on as if it didn't exist and take my chances.

Cancer gets 1 in 3 of us, heart attacks strike on a whim. Both have ripped several giant f**king holes through my family and extended family this year.
I don't know anyone who's definitely had covid. I know what I fear most, and it's not that.
