Dongle, do I need one?

I've bought a sports utility camping crossover vairkle for nationwide genersl f**kingaboutery and associated canoe camping hiking adventures and am picking her up next week and have been musing about off the grid tinternet/tv watchability accessage. Do I need a dongle or a firestick or some such other gizmo? Asking for a luddite.
