Yeah it's a long old road from 'promising' to breaking through

When I started supporting us we had a good record for doing that. Then it went to s**t for years (except for keepers, we seemed okay at bringing keepers through).

Now we seem to be doing okay on that front again. These days that definitely involves having a really good loan strategy for the youngsters. Sure - most won't make it, but there's something great about seeing players who we've helped in their career (even after they've moved on)
