Getting a compensation fee for an academy product rather than having him out on loan, and a cost, before realising Northampton was his level.

Most don't make it - we know that we're taking punts on youngsters in just the same way that Wolves did/Villa will but many will end up at this level - see Carlton Morris inter alia.

Good luck to him though - plenty have made a decent career of it!
