For sols (though you didnt ask) I have used Lambert Pugh in Norwich who were ok, or if you dont mind not physically meeting them I can put you in touch with a good solicitor at our place. Not sure where we rank cost wise for resi conveyancing, but I can make sure they give you top service and you can whinge at me on here if you're not getting it (partnership has its perks). Oh and she is Bristol so double Wrath points.
