I can only assume that he was at one time a decent player and we feel that

by getting him for £450k or whatever now because we are prepared to take a punt on him we are getting him for a snip in the event that he can shake off his injury woes.

Feels like one who perhaps suddenly became available and we thought "we'll have him" as he may come in useful once we go down.

His injury record is, however, appalling and it all has slight echoes of Drmic if he does not shake of the injuries. I suppose Webber would say that for £450k its worth a punt.

I just hope we don;t p**s off the likes of Stiepermann and Kenny too much in the remainder of this season by excluding them from the squad or not giving them game time as they are players who could be important for us next season.
