I'm more in 'In Webber we trust camp' but I agree that this signing feels unusual.

I cannot think of another example where players approaching 30 have been signed because they'll suit us in a lower division in eight months time.

It might be progressive thinking... but it doesn't feel quite as progressive as picking up someone 10 years younger.
