Totally agree. But I think it happens to a lot of PL clubs that..

Are relegated.
You spunk money on the wrong players and now you have an overpaid poor squad who think they are too good for the champs.

TBF in the McNally era we did EXACTLY what current fans are screaming for.
We spunked big money on players like Dick Van Wolfswinkel and....it didn't work.

The only difference under the Webber regime is we will be in a much better position in the champs.
