We took one too many steps backwards 12 years ago

I didn't enjoy it at the time but good things were spawned as a result. The thing that gets my goat now is that we haven't capitalized on back to back promotions in the same way a side like Wolves have. Lambert and Alex Neil were good but eventually found wanting.

As good as Farke was last season he looks like a guy completely out of his depth now. I'd love for you to expand on your premonitions for the future when you have time.

Can you honestly see us becoming the next wolves? I can see us losing the spine of the team that propelled us to greatness last season and then what happens after that. Sure, as you say, financially we're well run club. I'm grateful for that but I don't see like for like replacements coming in next season with an impetuous current towards correcting the failings that have occurred this campaign.
