Wish we'd bought better players to compete with them. Particularly a pacey winger, good no. 10 (although I did think this night be Roberts), a better striker to Srbeny and another centre back (I didn't think Hanley was good enough before all the injuries).

I wasn't convinced by spending so much money on Fahrmann, would've been even less convinced if signed permanently. Amadou looked fine but isn't being trusted in defensive midfield. Byram was a good singing despite cheap price but we did need to be ambitious and sign the players in para 1.

Pacey winger was a very obvious gap in squad and everyone could see Srbeny wasn't going to be a front line replacement so don't think any hindsight involved in that. Centre back could be seen as hindsight if down to injuries but I was concerned about Hanley (who to be fair has looked quite good in last few games).
