if the people in charge of the club are so sensible and bring stability

why have we repeatedly been moments from going out of business under their leadership?

Seems a bit of a contradiction. Essentially they change their entire business model every three years or so, whenever we get a new CEO. I have no massive problem with the owners, but what they have not been is a strong, stable influence, conservatively steering the overall direction of the club. We have constantly transitioned from having large debt and begging to the fans to save the club, to being financial secure, and then back again, over the last 20 years.
