I agree with that

I would actually favour a complete rethink and moving to a higher tax system, but that would be higher tax for everyone, on a progressive basis.

Corbyn’s approach of saying that only high earners and big companies should pay, came across to me as too anti-big business and success. The current economic model in this country is flawed, but it doesn’t need tearing up altogether. Fundamentally, the country doesn’t bring in enough tax to pay for the standard of services that everyone wants. But sticking that entire burden on people that earn more isn’t the way to go.

I get that my approach would go down like a lead balloon, but at least it would be a believable strategy that would actually benefit the whole country, and also one that would be self funding.
