I entirely agree that Labour can only blame themselves

but, aside from their equivocation on Brexit, I'm not sure policies were the issue.

Bottom line, Corbyn, McDonnell and the divisive arrogance of Momentum did for them.

Repackage a social justice agenda, smoothing some of the nationalisation edges, with a younger more empathetic, less toxic Leadership and the result is closer.

They won't do that of course - and a Con Gov until at least 2029 is far more likely than not.
