We really didn't though did we. Naismith and Jarvis on stupid contracts were about the

only decisions in the premier league that were questionable and to be honest that was more about poor decision making/administration than chucking everything at staying in the premier league.

Martin new contract, Jerome new contract, Alex Neil new contract and payoff for him and his team, Jez Moxey, Wildshutt etc were all done after we got relegated and were all ridiculous decisions that cost us millions. Nothing to do with trying to stay in the premier league. Possibly a bit to do with trying to get back there but again I would argue just poor decision making that I don't think Webber would do. Some of it when we had no CEO and appear to have had our pants pulled down by various agents.
