The whole thing is ridiculous. Why were our referees allow to

basically agree amongst themselves to do it differently to all the other leagues in Europe.

Why are the refs not going to the screen at the side of the pitch which would be way more preferable?

Who clearly sent out a dictat last week saying "we need to start overturning some on field penalty decisions" to the VAR officials which has resulted in them making at least 3 ridiculous decisions this weekend.

Whole thing is a shambles. You begin to wonder if there is avtually anyone vaguely intelligent working anywhere in professional football.
