so you don't need that. It only becomes an issue if NI votes to leave the arrangement in the future but that is the same issue that you would otherwise have in 3 weeks so in my view having to worry about it "possibly" happening in 2024 is better than having to deal with it happening on October 31st.

I would hope that the EU would share that view also but clearly they have other agendas as well.
