customs union and single market *is* the sensible compromise

max fac, checks away from the border, 'unicorn technology, etc. only deals with those that stick to the law

if standards, customs taxes, etc. diverge on each side of the border in Ireland then how will they stop the smugglers?

what is your sensible suggestion?
