don't think Johnson cares either way

as long as he can be PM I don't think it really matters to him whether he's PM in Europe, out of it with a deal, or out of it without a deal. They have calculated that this course of action is the best one to secure his status.

The real shame is that no-one is providing any real vision for what a post-EU Britain could or should look like. It's all still wrapped up in jingoism and 'control' of our destiny, without thinking about what that destiny could or should be.
