Can anyone explain to me the logic of (a) subbing off Emi at all and (b) replacing him

with Dr Mike?

Mike has many qualities but defence is not his thing and his feeble challenges gave Man City several of their best chances at the death (including their goal). He is a great man to throw on when hunting a goal but a lousy pick for backs-to-the-wall time
