Car drivers are all called "motorists" to be fair

if you're riding a bike, are you not, by definition, at that time, a "cyclist"?

I don't ride bikes because I'm scared of getting knocked off and killed. And I always leave loads of room.

This bloke was obviously a mindless thug first, cyclist second, but if he hadn't run a red light the confrontation wouldn't have happened. Would have said the same about a motorbike running a red light and doing the same.
