It was a stupid piece

Because racism is a real and serious issue in modern Britain, more than ever since 2016

Writing a piece which says it’s racist to observe that a black player is strong and physical trivialises something serious (because it’s obviously contrary to everyone’s observed experience - thus DF calls our new black CDM strong and physical and everyone knows that that isn’t racist) and risks turning people off the whole debate, and makes them less likely to engage seriously with the possibility of unconscious bias
