As one who was around when the first moon landing occurred

I can say with total conviction that at the time no-one, but no-one (i.e. 0%) believed or even considered that the event was staged. The first doubters seemed to first emerge several years later no doubt prompted by the festering pain of the Russians who had their noses severely put out of joint by the Americans' success. Shame eh?!
