Well they did it the other way last time and got a load of stick...

Basically whatever you do you'll get criticised for if it doesn't work (by people with the benefit of hindsight), and nobody knows in advance what will work. I guess at least the consequences of this approach not working are way less problematic than if you go the other way...

Personally I don't think it makes sense (unless you have loads of unearned sugar daddy cash available) to spend that big in your first season up because at this stage you don't know which players will successfully make the step up and which won't, so you could end up spending money on players you actually didn't need because the ones you already had were good enough. DM and a backup for Pukki should be the priorities for me at this point.
